This year has been declared a year of environmental education. We are writing environmental essays and organizing environmental talks to help pupils to be environmentally conscious. We trust we will be able to put the care of the environment in all the pupils we interact with.
Share Foundation Ghana made the following donations;
1. Two hundred assorted books to Community Seven Number One (1) Junior High School.
2. Eighty assorted books to Manhean TMA Junior High School.
3. Forty books Presbyterian Primary School.
4. 150 plants we planted in February and out it 74 plants are growing now. We congratulate all the schools for their great work in making sure that their trees thrived.
5. We were able to put smiles on the faces of the lepers in Kpandai Leprosarium in the Northern Region and patients at the orthopaedic training centre in Nsawam. Items including slightly used clothing, toiletries, drinks, biscuits and bread were given to them.
6. Slightly used clothing, shoes, babies clothing was donated to Mahlef, a home for teenage moms and their babies.
7. We also donated clothing and shoes to pupils in Manhean JHS schools in Tema Newtown.

It is committed to providing scholarships which includes payments of academic fees, textbooks, uniforms, bursaries among others to brilliant but needy students. It is also loyal to promoting literacy among students by establishing well equipped libraries, organizing quizzes, reading and spelling competitions and also driven to inspire and motivate students by organizing inspirational talks using resource personnel.

Brilliant but needy pupils are awarded scholarships comprising stationery school fees food and pocket money. So far, a total of 350 pupils have been sponsored since the inception of the scheme.Some of whom are now Graduates from University of Ghana, Cape coast, Winneba, Accra Technical university, Koforidua Technical University, Maritime University and Presbyterian Training College. A number of them are still pursuing degrees in the various Universities currently. Some of our beneficiaries are also in the Senior High Schools and others in Junior High schools.
In order to inculcate reading culture in young people, we have set up four modern libraries in four public schools to motivate children to start reading at early ages so they can grow to be lovers of books. We have libraries within Manhean Tm Junior High School in Tema Newtown known as Praise community library. Diamond community library can be located within the Republic Road and a cluster of schools in community four, Tema. Comfort learning center is located within the community eight number three and four schools and Hilda Brown library within the Anglican schools in Teshie, Accra. As we are giving equal opportunities to all children in Ghana to have access to modern libraries, we have set up reading clubs in public schools across Ghana so these pupils will also develop a love for reading. We have clubs in Sandema in the Upper East Region, Akosombo Nsawam Akyem Asafo in the Eastern Region, Hohoe and Jasikan in the Volta Region and Asokore Mampong in the Ashanti Region.
Share Foundation donates old clothing, shoes and food items to Teshie orphanage, Nungua orphanage, Fafraha orphanage. We also have the Mahlef foundation which provides shelter for teen mothers and babies and the Master mind foundation for talented youth in Tema Newtown. We implemented the electrification project in Republic school, renovated the primary washrooms, scrubbed the school walls and donated costumes for the choreography group. Microfinance support was given to beneficiaries’ mothers and guardians to boost their businesses. This helped them provide some basic needs to the beneficiaries and provided some pocket money for their daily expenses
Educational tours are organised periodically to help our beneficiaries expand their horizons and broaden their knowledge. So far, we have visited Ernest Chemists, GTP nustyles, Nestle Ghana, SAF (an organization that uses faecal matter to generate electricity), Independence Square, Du Bois Center, Arts Center, Kwame Nkrumah mausoleum, the Accra International Conference center, University of Ghana and University of professional studies. Beneficiaries clean the Manhean health center on public holidays Christmas and Easter holidays. This is to teach beneficiaries the value of community service and volunteering. Motivational talks are organized by seasoned professionals to help beneficiaries to be inspired to aim higher in their studies and chosen careers. Top up classes are organized to help beneficiaries to excel in their studies. Classes in the core subjects such as English, Integrated Science and Mathematics are organized by some volunteers from both home and abroad to help our beneficiaries. Share excellence awards are given to outstanding and exceptional students who have performed extremely well in the various subjects. So far, these awards have been given to beneficiaries in Republic road Primary and Junior High Schools, Community eight number three and four primary schools and Manhean Tm JHS one and two all in Tema, Greater Accra Region.
